Itinerary

So What's the Plan?

Sunday - Monday: Get on flight and find hotel room. You will be riding on Delta Airlines from 11:32 am to 3:10 pm in Japanese time zone (12 hr and 38 min flight w/ wifi) = $1,984 round trip. You will be staying in the hotel Best Western Shinjuku Astina Hotel for $132 per night.

Tuesday: Spend the day hanging out around the neighborhood of Shinjuku. Perhaps buy a souvenir or two...or thirty. When you arrive at tokyo, you know that you are going to buy a lot of products no matter what because everything here in Tokyo is just too kawaii (cute in japanese). ʕ•̀ω•́ʔ✧. We suggest bringing $100-200 for buying things here.

Wednesday: Japan is just not complete without the endless amount of anime, robots, and other various cartoons/electronics. Spend the day at Akihabara and buy anything that interests you. Amount of money to bring to this area may range from a few hundreds of dollars to even thousands of dollars.

Thursday: Now buying sushi back in the US can be pretty expensive, but why not trying them for a cheaper price here in the homeland of Sushi cuisines. Explore the variety in dishes and cuisines of seafood sushi until your stomach is full of delicious joy. Prepare to bring enough money to feed your stomach. Then at night, enjoy the Shimbashi Nightlife as you travel in areas of Shimbashi where they hold many comfortable areas with fine food and cheap souvenirs from local street vendors. Suggested to bring $100.

Friday: Now is a time to stop with the constant shopping and to truly explore the culture and history of Japan. Come visit the Tokyo National Museum to learn and discover all of the remnant pasts of japanese culture.

Saturday: Now before you catch your flight, take one last moment to shop at the Ginza Neighborhood. Here you will find all of the luxurious brands you can brag to you family and friends back home. Then remember to catch your 4:50 pm flight back to Minneapolis.
